　　I would like to express my interest in applying for the summer positions with your company. Throughout my internship search and conversation with the recruiter, I have come to respect the professionalism that characterizes your firm and its employees. 　　As an Engineering student, competent leader and effective team builder with a lengthy experience; I possess a diverse background in assisting, planning, scheduling, developing, supporting, and management of various projects and activities, not limited to working with Verizon, Vgo, Samsung, Novatel, Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson senior engineers. Recent accomplishments include designing a handover web user interface for JFW programmable attenuator in Verizon LTE Innovation Laboratory. Furthermore, I have had great deal of design experience in electronic, hardware, and software. In the laboratory I have performed circuit analysis using function generators and oscilloscopes, designed and simulated analog integrated circuits, output/driver stages, feedback amplifiers, timing circuits and mixed use of analog/digital circuits. Designed and tested an Infrared Audio Link with 3 meter distance requirement. For the microwave component, analyzed and tested Gunn diode, slotted line, vector network, directional coupler, impedance matching and tuning, cavity resonator in laboratory. For the computer system, designed and analyzed the digital system using CPLD hardware and ATmega32 microcontroller. Also implemented pipeline MIPS machine simulator in C and programmed Altera DE2 FPGA embedded system to interface with webcam, handshake networking, and data compression.

　　In addition, I have extensive experience with Java, Java Scrip, Flot, PHP, HTML, Android, C/C++, Excel, Microsoft Office, Mat Lab, Mathematica, Verilog, and PSpice. 　　英文求職信時(shí)要注意以下四個(gè)方面：

　　一、在語(yǔ)言風(fēng)格上要平實(shí)、簡(jiǎn)潔。切忌用夸張、比喻的手法引起誤解，而要給招聘者留下誠(chéng)懇、務(wù)實(shí)的印象。招聘者也沒(méi)有時(shí)間閱讀過(guò)長(zhǎng)的信件，所以整篇書(shū)信要簡(jiǎn)短，能控制在一頁(yè)16開(kāi)紙上為最好。

　　二、在句子結(jié)構(gòu)上要多用長(zhǎng)句。長(zhǎng)句善于表達(dá)復(fù)雜事物，一方面有利于準(zhǔn)確表達(dá)求職者的意圖，容易給招聘者留下思維條理清晰，邏輯性強(qiáng)的印象;另一方面，將大量信息融合到一個(gè)句子中，很容易抓住招聘者的注意力，迫使其一口氣讀完，從而留下深刻印象。

　　三、從語(yǔ)氣上，求職信應(yīng)寫(xiě)得誠(chéng)懇而積極，表達(dá)出自己對(duì)該單位的向往之情。切忌傲慢或過(guò)于自謙。

　　四、從內(nèi)容上看，英文求職信一般要包括七個(gè)步驟：

　　1. introducing candidate (介紹候選身份)。在這一部分中，求職者要介紹自己的求職意向和個(gè)人情況，包括受教育、專(zhuān)業(yè)、工作履歷等方面的情況。

　　2. establishing credential (確定任職憑證) 在這部分，求職者要表明自己為什么和憑什么選擇這份工作，即自己的專(zhuān)業(yè)或目前從事的工作類(lèi)型。

　　3. offering incentives (鼓勵(lì)接受申請(qǐng))這一步是招聘者能否給應(yīng)聘者面試機(jī)會(huì)的關(guān)鍵。應(yīng)聘者可以從能力、經(jīng)驗(yàn)、個(gè)人專(zhuān)長(zhǎng)、性格優(yōu)勢(shì)等各方面進(jìn)行闡述，鼓勵(lì)招聘者給自己一個(gè)面試的機(jī)會(huì)。

　　4. enclosing document (提及附加材料)。應(yīng)聘往往會(huì)被要求或自愿隨信附加一些證明文件，比如各種證書(shū)和近期照片。最好再附上一個(gè)已寫(xiě)好的回郵信封。以便盡快得到回音。

　　5. using pressure tactics(采用施壓策略)這是為了獲得面試機(jī)會(huì)而使用的手段。但這一步對(duì)求職者的要求很高，必須對(duì)自己的實(shí)力有充分的自信，還要了解招聘者的薄弱環(huán)節(jié)在什么地方，才能積極有效的施加壓力。否者這種手段的效果只能適得其反。
