　　Global warming

　　With the rapid growth of economy, people’s living standard has greatly improved. But due to irrational mode of economic growth, many environmental problems also have been brought into focus among the general public, especially global warming.

　　Global warming is the observed and projected increases in the average temperature of earth's atmosphere and oceans .The 20th century ended with an average global temperature that was 0.6 degrees Celsius higher than the start of the century .This increase in average global temperature was the largest of any century over the last 1000 years . The causes for global warming are varied .they include natural and human factors. Perhaps the main cause is human factors . First of all ,the rapid increase of population over the world has a significant impact on global temperature .As we know, not only people’s breath release carbon dioxide but also explosive population would occupy more energies and resources .Second ,so many trees have been cut down by human beings which can’t catch up with the recycle of trees that result in great decrease of forest coverage and weaken the ability of trees to absorb carbon dioxide. In addition, people use many baneful burning material that let out greenhouse gases and this contribute to the damage to the atmospheric environment . The effects of global warming are tremendous and profound, such as the sea-level rise ,the change of human economic structure ,extreme climate and so on .In view of this ,it is time put an immediate end to the undesirable situation .We can use solar energy ,develop alternative energy sources to replace the stuffs that exhaust greenhouse gases and use other environmental-friendly energy.

　　In a word ,we should shift from extensive economy to intensive economy and advocate a clean ,low carbon dioxide life style .
